Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Have breakfast, and then, later on, you will be picked up from your hotel to embark on a journey up north-western Uganda to the final destination, Murchison Falls. Drive along the Kampala Masindi highway to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with a quick stop to visit one of the Big Five (the rhino) that is not found in the national park. You’ll have lunch at the sanctuary and then continue to the park immediately. Through Masindi town and into the national park to Budongo Forest Reserve. You’ll then be prepared for an afternoon of chimpanzee tracking as organized by the Uganda Great Lakes.

Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise on Murchison Falls.
As briefed by the guide after dinner, you’ll be having an early morning game drive in this part of the national park, which is the Southern Sector. You’ll be exposed to quite a variety of animal species. Murchison Falls National Park has as many as 76 species of mammals and over 400 bird species. You’ll at least see some of them during the game drive.
You’ll have lunch after the game drive, and later in the afternoon, you’ll be treated to an enjoyable boat cruise. The launch cruise is best done in the afternoon because most of the animals are drawn to the riverbank to drink some water. This boat cruise will be concluded with a hike to the top of the falls, where you can get to see the magnificent falls up close and take pictures or even videos. You’ll then meet your driver, who will drive you back to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Uganda Big five viewing, Karuma Falls and Back to Kampala
You’ll wake up early, around 6:00 am. Organize your stuff, check out of your safari lodge, and have breakfast. Later on, your driver will then pick you up from your safari lodge for the ferry crossing to the southern side of the park to exit the park for Kampala/Entebbe.
