Chimpanzees tracking in Kyambura Gorge, the Gorge is also known as “Valley of Apes” is located in the Eastern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Southwestern Uganda spanning the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The gorge is drained by river Kyambura comprising of chimpanzees and birds. The place has a beautiful scenic view with tropical rains forest making it a favorable home for the chimps ready to climb trees and roam.

The chimpanzee tracking kyambura gorge which shelters only sixteen chimpanzees of late and they are all habituated for 2 years and ready for visitors. Chimpanzee tracking takes one to three hours daily. Starting from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. There is other attraction in the Kyambura like birds, monkeys and vegetation types.
