1 day gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda will begin and end in Kigali, one of Africa’s cleanest capital cities. You’ll head to Volcanoes National Park, which was formed by enormous volcanoes but is mostly known for its rain forest, mountain gorillas, and golden monkeys for trekking adventure, both of which are critically endangered species. Rwanda also has the 160-square-kilometer Volcanoes National Park in the country’s northwest, as well as the Virunga Mountain National Park, which is about two hours’ drive from the country’s international airport.

The park is home to ten habituated mountain gorilla families, totaling to approximately 300 gorillas in the forest, as well as two habituated golden monkey groups, each containing approximately 80 to 90 individuals. Furthermore, tourists can visit the national park all throughout the year.
