Detailed itinerary for 4 days Queen Elizabeth Safaris Uganda with Ishasha Wilderness

Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National park with an evening game drive.

After your breakfast, you will be picked up by the driver/tour guide from your place of residence to begin the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop at Igongo cultural centre for lunch. Upon your arrival, you will check into your booked safari lodge, get some refreshments and later set out for an evening game drive, a good chance to see lots of antelopes and other animals if you’re lucky. Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Wake up to a delicious early morning continental breakfast and set out for a morning game drive in the Queen mile sector, explore the beauty of this part as well and if lucky, you will see lots of animals as they arise from their slumber. Return to the lodge and wait for lunch, after lunch you will get to enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, with the most prolific bird life in all of the National Parks, the magical beauty here is unbelievable. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Visit Kyambura gorge and crater lakes.

After your breakfast, you will drive straight to Kyambura gorge, breathtaking scenery at this point, get a few minutes of viewing from the viewing point, take lots of pictures, and drive to the starting point of the Chimpanzee tracking, where you will be briefed for a few minutes about the activity and you will be ready to enter the gorge to have an experience with man’s closest relative. Return from the Chimpanzee tracking to your lodge and relax as you wait for lunch. Get the crater Lake experience after your lunch. And later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 4: Travel back to Kampala with Ishasha en route to spot tree climbing Lions.

Wake up to a typical Queen Elizabeth breakfast and check out of the safari lodge after your breakfast. You will then exit the Park driving through the Ishasha sector for a possible chance to see the tree climbing Lions. Continue with your drive to Kampala with a lunch stop at the equator for lunch, at this point take plenty of pictures, you can buy some souvenirs to take with you back home for family and friends. You will be dropped off at any desired location of your choice when you get to Kampala. Meal plan: H/B
