Detailed itinerary for 6-days Uganda primates tracking safari in Uganda.
Day 1: Travel from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Pick up from your residence or hotel by your guide who will also be your driver for the entire Uganda Primates trip. You will then head to the beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will use the Masaka – Mbarara highway. A stopover at Agip Motel will be made for your lunch and proceed ahead to the National Park. Upon arriving at the National Park, you will go straight to your safari lodge and check in. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
You will have an early breakfast as you will need to be at the tracking briefing point at 7:15 am to get a briefing before the tracking activity starts. In addition to your packed lunch, you must carry drinking water, a rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick.
Gorilla tracking is an enriching and rewarding experience as you walk through the thick rainforest with its unique vegetation, and different bird species, among others. With your Gorilla experience done, you will return to your lodge for an evening of relaxation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Forest to Queen Elizabeth Game Drive and Launch Cruise
You should be ready, prepared and done with your breakfast by 6:30 am so that you are on the road to Queen National Park in time for the morning game drive in the ishasha sector on the lookout for the tree-climbing lions! After the game drive, continue to Mweya Safari Lodge where you will be having your lunch. You will check into your safari lodge and get some time to relax as you wait for your evening boat cruise.

Day 4: Morning Game drive in Queen Elizabeth and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Very early in the morning, you will wake up to a cup of coffee/tea and be ready to start your early morning game drive by 6:30 am. You will then head to your safari lodge and have breakfast after the game drive, check out of your safari lodge and head out to Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into your safari lodge, and have lunch. Dinner and overnight stay. The guide will give you a look into the next day and the time for your activities for the next day.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience( CHEX ) in Kibale National Park
Wake up early and have breakfast prepared, get your packed lunch and drive to the briefing point where you will get a look into the typical day-day life of a chimpanzee and the dos and don’ts while you are in their midst. You will then begin your chimpanzee habituation, stop and have your lunch and continue with the habituation till 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
This is also an amazing activity for bird watchers because Kibale Forest is one of the National Parks that is blessed with a wide variety of different bird species. After your day’s fun-filled adventure, you will go back to your safari lodge, shower and have dinner. Get some rest for the next day.

Day 6: Travel from Kibale National Park back to Kampala / Entebbe
